A GREAT SUCCESS WITH THE MOST EXHIBITORS AND VISITORS EVER
As a large international fastener specialized exhibition, the 5th Fastener Trade Show was grandly held at the Suzhou International Expo Center, Suzhou, China on April 8-9, 2011, displaying the exceptional charm of China fastener industry.
With the theme of “New Achievement, New Brand, New Trend”, the 5th Fastener Trade Show first staged in Suzhou, one of the centers of Yangtze Delta with less than 200 km away from Shanghai, Jiaxing, Wuxi, Ningbo, Hangzhou and the like fastener manufacturing cities.
Within exhibit space of 12,000 square meters, the exhibitors showcased their latest fastener products and supporting technologies. The number of exhibitors made a new record to 305, totally more than 400 booths. Exhibitors include Zhejiang Aozhan, Sanhuan Fasteners, Jiashan Zhongsheng, Wuxi Anshida, Rivet Precision, Shanghai Jingyang, Evan Fastening Systems, Shanghai Nutech, Haiyan Dazhong, Haiyan Heaven & Earth, Morgan Brother Technology, etc. Supporting companies included Taicang Minjui, Jiangnan Nut Tapping Machinery, Jiaxing Miyo, Dongguan Donglong, PointMaster Machinery, Hongkong Xingsheng, Zhejiang Yeswin, etc. Companies having a geographical advantage also tried to be the first to exhibit, such as PS SEIKO, Suzhou Dingdeng, Suzhou Fuyuan, Suzhou Jinyuan, Suzhou Ruihe, etc. In addition, National Machinery, Universal Punch Corp., COGEIM EUROPE SRL, SALA PUNZONI ASIA, Kyouei Fastener and the like overseas famous companies came to exhibit as well, aiming to compete with the domestic companies and expand the Chinese market.
In terms of professional visitors, the number of visitors also set the highest record, with an increase of 30% to 9,852 buyers from various sectors, 763 of which were overseas buyers, who come from 49 countries and regions including USA, Japan, Italy, UK, Australia, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Vietnam, Brazil, etc.
During the exhibition, a series of value-added “Fastener FAQ Forum” was held at the Exchange Section of the 5th Fastener Trade Show. Topics included “The Key to European Market: EC Directives Brief Introduction Related to Fasteners”, “Automotive Fastener Standardization”, “Heat Treatment Technology of Automotive Fasteners and Its Development”, “Effect of Oversize Tapped Nut on Proof Load” and “Performance Characteristics of Austenite Stainless Steel”, which attracted a myriad of attendees and becomes a unique feature in the Fastener Trade Show.
