WIN'09 Review

The WIN'09-World of Industry Part 1 opened from Feb 5-8, 2009 at TUYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center, Istanbul, Turkey. Organized by Hannover Messe, WIN is a big industrial event in Asian-Pacific region, featuring machinery, welding, surface treatment, materials handling, automation, electrotechnology, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

China Fastener Info has participated in this four-day fair (Feb 5-8) to widely spread the all-English China Fastener Directory, as well as to promote the 2nd Fastener Trade Show. According to the China Fastener Info visitors traffic for the recent month, Turkey follows UK, Spain, India, Argentina, Mexico and Australia and ranks Top 7. Italy, Germany and Columbia are also listed within the Top 10.

It attracts approximately 800 exhibitors, including 6 fastener companies from Turkey and 1 from China. It is apparent that the number of visitors grew significantly on Day 2 and Day 3. Surprisingly, the thousands of visitors came to the fair on Day 3. Many buyers sent their inquiries to China Fastener Info for the recommendation of suppliers. Some buyers said that it is difficult to find the Chinese suppliers who produce non-standard parts, especially the products of high techniques; some said that they will speed up their purchasing in China before the implementation of antidumping duties by Turkey. According to Turkish exhibitors, Turkey will launch an antidumping investigation against China fasteners in the near future.
